Who we are:
Hello prospective team members. My name is Lindsey, and I am currently a one woman show looking to grow my farmers market team for my small food business, Eltee's Goods (think LT's Goods). At Eltee's Goods, I am striving to create community through food, utilizing locally grown- and milled ingredients, connecting with other local small businesses- using their products as much as possible, and meeting and educating my customer base. Creating community as I go.
I currently have a line of unique and tasty savory tomato jams, as well as a few baked goods, but will be expanding our pastry and bakery line in the coming months.
Who you are:
You are a fan of food. You care about the food ecosystem you exist within, and are excited by the idea of creating community through food.
You have weekend availability- every Saturday and some Sundays. Days generally start early- between 7 and 8, and end by or around 2. Eight hour day includes driving time and load in/out.
You live in Westchester County and have a car to get you to and from markets- as well as meet up spots/storage space to pick up materials. Materials include a 10ft tent (collapsed) so your car must have the space for this.
You are outgoing, and excited to engage with customers and share our mission and our yumminess. You are not afraid to sell sell sell. You are not afraid to be bold, and show your excitement for our products.
You have some sales or food experience. This is not required but preferred.
You must be able to lift at least 25lbs. This is a physical job. You are on your feet for up to 7 hours a day and are responsible for setting up and taking down the display on your own. (I will train you for this and make sure you are fully comfortable before you begin).
You have a positive attitude and a genuine excitement about our mission. I cannot wait to grow my team, and have community within my own company.
